Job summary

The Woodlands Township is seeking a full-time Aquatics supervisor to manage lifeguarding across 14 pools and lead training programs. The role requires coordinating seasonal staffing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, reporting, and collaboration with Human Resources and Community Relations to promote pools and recruit lifeguards. A bachelor's degree and lifeguard instructor certifications are preferred, with flexibility for weekend/evening

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Certifications in lifeguarding, instructor training, and aquatic management are required.
Experience in budgeting, staff scheduling, and safety compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor activities at the 14 neighborhood pools.
Plan, coordinate and oversee lifeguard training, in-service training, and staff meetings.
Assist with budget preparation, monitoring expenses, and purchase orders.
Check out/in lifeguard equipment and monitor inventory.
Coordinate with Human Resources on seasonal staffing and certifications.
Prepare reports and incident, accident, and monthly activity reports.
