Job summary

Williamson County Parks & Recreation is seeking a full-time pool facilities technician to perform daily inspections, maintain water chemistry, and repair pool equipment. You will handle preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with health regulations across county aquatic facilities.

Qualified applicants have experience in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical maintenance, a valid Tennessee driver's license, and the ability to pass a background check; AFO certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical maintenance.
• Combination of education, training, and experience to perform essential duties.
• Commercial pool maintenance and mechanical experience preferred.
• Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification preferred but not required.
• Valid Tennessee Driver's License required.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of aquatic facilities and respond to maintenance requests.
• Maintain proper pool water chemistry per health regulations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and install pool equipment and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pool mechanical systems for safe operation.
• Repair or replace defective equipment and components as needed.
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs related to pool equipment.
• Monitor and maintain pool pump rooms and mechanical systems.
