POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: POOL TIMING SYSTEMS OPERATOR

2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP CAMPUS

Deadline: This position will be filled in no less than ten (10) days after the date of this posting.

Requirements:

• A valid Red Cross Lifeguarding certificate.
• A valid AED/CPR certificate.
• Knowledge of operating aColorado Timing System.
• Knowledge of NJSIAA Swimming rules.
• Successfully undergo acriminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
• Meets NJ residency requirements or willingness to relocate to NJ within 365 days of employment.
• Must follow the guidelines of the Camden County Technical Schools’ Nepotism Policy, File Code: 0142.1.

Position:

This is a seasonal/stipend extracurricular position. It is non-tenurable and ineligible for health, dental, or board-paid insurance benefits.

Salary:

$23/Hour

PERFORMANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The timing system operator will be available for swim meets throughout the season.
• The timing system operator will maintain score and time and be able to provide all information regarding score and time to officials and coaches throughout the swim meet.
• In an emergency, the Timing Systems Operator will be able to act as lifeguard.
