Qualifications

• Lifeguard Training Certificate from Red Cross or comparable.
• Standard First Aid Certificate from the American Red Cross or comparable.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Certificate from American Red Cross or comparable.
• Criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
• Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
• Must follow the Camden County Technical Schools' Nepotism Policy.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with the athletic director and be responsible for pool facility all hours when it is utilized, following state and board policies on pool and water maintenance standards.
• Coordinate all pool health codes, safety, and maintenance requests.
• Coordinate all health and physical education class usage of the pool.
• Coordinate and supervise all Olympic Conference and/or South Jersey Swim League meets.
• Coordinate, supervise and assist all outside group usage.
• Coordinate all certifications for coaches and lifeguards.
• Establish rules and regulations with lifeguards as per pool procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct lifeguard training.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the director of athletics and student activities or designee.
