Job summary

Azureon LLC in Fishkill, NY is hiring a Pool Technician Assistant for full-time seasonal work outdoors. You’ll learn hands-on pool care by assisting seasoned Service Technicians with maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs.

This apprentice opportunity emphasizes safety, teamwork, and growing into a Service Technician role. You will manage equipment, record readings, and support projects while gaining practical skills in water chemistry, repairs, and customer service.

Qualifications

• A passion for hands-on outdoor work and a desire to learn a trade.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; repairs and installations is a plus.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical work, or landscaping is a bonus.
• Able to lift moderate to heavy objects (up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs occasionally).
• Strong communication with clients and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Master the art of pool care using vacuums, nets, and brushes to keep waters clear.
• Test pool water chemistry and add the necessary chemicals to maintain safe levels.
• Assist experienced technicians and prepare materials for tasks to support workflow.
• Keep the service vehicle organized, complete work orders, and document readings and photos.
• Follow and reinforce safety procedures to maintain a secure job site.
