Job summary

Anthony & Sylvan Pools is hiring a Pool Technician Helper to work hands-on with experienced technicians. You will learn pool cleaning, equipment service, and basic repair tasks in a real-world setting while supporting openings/closings and equipment upgrades.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn a skilled trade, comfortable outdoors, and prepared for peak-season overtime, Saturdays, and travel within the local service area. High school diploma preferred; some technical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Some technical experience preferred (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool service/repair).
• Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pool cleanings, water testing, and removal/installation of pool covers and equipment.
• Support service technicians with basic pool and equipment repairs, leak detection, plumbing assistance, and equipment servicing.
• Load/unload and organize service vehicles; assist with material handling and site housekeeping.
• Safely handle and apply pool chemicals (chlorine, algaecides, pH balancers, muriatic acid) per instructions.
• Interact with scheduling team and management to support repair and maintenance schedules; overtime and Saturdays during peak season.
