The Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes is looking for a talented Pool Technician to join our amazing team at this one of a kind resort.

This resort offers breathtaking valley views, over 40,000 square feet of versatile indoor and outdoor event spaces, and 353 newly renovated guest rooms.

Responsibilities

• Water quality maintenance: Regularly testing pool water pH levels, chlorine levels, and other chemical parameters, adjusting chemicals as needed.
• Pool cleaning: Skimming debris from the water surface, vacuuming the pool floor, brushing pool walls and tiles.
• Equipment maintenance: Inspecting and cleaning pool filters, pumps, heaters, and other equipment, identifying and repairing malfunctions.
• Leak detection and repair: Identifying and fixing leaks in pool plumbing and structure.
• Pool opening and closing procedures: Performing seasonal tasks like draining and winterizing pools, or opening them for summer use.
• Inventory management: Ordering and maintaining necessary pool chemicals and parts.
• Safety compliance: Adhering to local pool safety regulations and ensuring proper pool operation.
