Job summary

Tolomato Community Development District is seeking a part-time, seasonal Pool Technician to help keep water clean and safe at our waterpark facilities. You will perform daily water testing, adjust chemical levels, and monitor equipment to meet health standards.

This role requires outdoor work, the ability to follow safety procedures, and teamwork with Lifeguards and Park Service Attendants to support daily operations.

• Monitor water clarity, temperature, and circulation systems to maintain optimal swimming conditions.

• Maintain accurate records of water chemistry readings and maintenance activities.
• Safely handle, store, and transport pool chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Lifeguards and Park Service Attendants to support daily operations and safety.

Job description

Keep the water crystal clear and the fun flowing! Pool Technicians play an essential role in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning aquatic facilities. This position supports daily waterpark operations by helping ensure water quality, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety standards. This position performs routine water testing, adjusts chemical levels as needed, and monitors overall water quality to meet safety and health standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform daily water testing and chemical balancing to ensure all pools and aquatic attractions meet health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor water clarity, temperature, and circulation systems to maintain optimal swimming conditions.
• Inspect, operate, and maintain pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of water chemistry readings, chemical usage, maintenance activities, and repair.
• Safely handle, store, and transport pool chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with Lifeguards and Park Service Attendants to support daily operations and maintain a safe environment.

Position Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures, technical instructions, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and approach when interacting with park visitors and other employees.
