Blue Lagoon Pool Management is seeking a dependable Pool Technician to join our team in the Mesa/ Gilbert area. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing pools and related equipment, delivering reliable, professional service to every customer.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following safety procedures and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in pool maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of pool systems, water testing, and chemical balancing preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance.
• Test water and maintain chemical balance.
• Inspect pools and equipment for damage, malfunctions and safety concerns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other pool equipment.
• Complete minor repairs and replace pool equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemicals applied, and materials used.
• Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and chemical-handling requirements.
• Properly operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Complete assigned service routes accurately and within established timelines.
• Communicate delays, equipment concerns, customer issues, or other service-related problems to management promptly.

Position Summary

Blue Lagoon Pool Management is seeking a dependable and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. This hands-on position is responsible for maintaining, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing swimming pools and related equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing reliable, professional service to every customer.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance.
• Test water and maintain proper chemical balance.
• Inspect pools and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and potential safety concerns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems involving pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and other pool equipment.
• Complete minor repairs and replace pool equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, chemicals applied, and materials used.
• Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns.
• Follow all company safety procedures and chemical-handling requirements.

CPO certification is required within six months. Blue Lagoon plans to pay the $390 certification cost upfront, with a one-year repayment/recoupment provision if the employee leaves.
