Qualifications

  • Master's degree or JD in a relevant field as listed.
  • Bachelors with 2+ years in budget/financial/administrative areas.
  • Equivalent combination with a high school diploma and experience acceptable.
  • Residency in NYC may apply; 55-a program eligibility noted.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Civil Service hiring pools, issue notices and manage candidates.
  • Oversee hiring pool activity, coordinate interviews and reports.
  • Coordinate New Hire Orientation and update related manuals.
  • Prepare statistical reports from hiring pools and testing data.
  • Enter and retrieve data in NYCAPS, HRTS, PMS, and PRISE systems.
