Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients ages 2-18 in the Muma Children’s Hospital. Responsibilities include assessing feeding, swallowing, and communication needs, while collaborating with medical staff to deliver comprehensive care.
The ideal candidate must have a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, state licensure, and at least one year of pediatric experience. This is a full-time position located on-site at the Tampa campus, providing vital support to young patients in need.
Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Manager and according to the established policies and procedures, evaluates and treats pediatric patients (ages 2 through age 18) who are admitted to any pediatric unit within the Muma Children’s Hospital at TGH: NICU, PICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Mother/Baby Units or the Inpatient Rehab Program. The Pediatrics Speech‑Language Pathologist plans and administers treatment programs to pediatric patients of all ages who may have deficits in the following areas: feeding, swallowing, speech‑language, communication, cognition, voice. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
