Job summary

TGH Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This PRN role focuses on maximizing speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities and requires CCC-SLP certification and experience with rehab populations.

Join Lifepoint Health’s network to contribute to patient recovery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide education to patients and families about therapy goals.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • CCC-SLP certification required or eligible.
  • Experience with acute or rehab populations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How you'll contribute

Speech-Language Pathologist who excels in this role:

  • Play an important part in helping our patient to recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities
  • Assess speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding therapy goals.
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams on care coordination.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for...
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Must have Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Minimum of twelve months speech therapist / speech language pathologist experience working with an acute or rehab population
  • Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of FL
  • Current CPR certification
