Job summary

Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego seeks a Pool Server to uphold luxury service standards. You will guide guests through the dining experience with hospitality, assist fellow servers, and maintain impeccable presentation and efficiency throughout shifts.

Requirements include at least 2 years in a similar role, a Food Handlers Card and RBS Certification, and strong communication. This is a full-time, on-site position within a five-star resort environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years serving experience in a restaurant environment.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• RBS Certification required.
• High School graduate.
• Excellent communication skills in English; basic math and calculator use.

Responsibilities

• Display a congenial appearance and stay well groomed.
• Take orders and make menu recommendations.
• Clear, clean, reset and maintain tables during shift.
• Assist other servers to provide top service as per standards.
• Understand delivery/removal processes for products and equipment.
• Handle guest checks per hotel policy.
• Maintain pars and equipment to complete service tasks.
• Complete side work as assigned by Manager.
• Assist guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow Manager directions at all times.
• Maintain proper uniform, ID badge and nametag.
