Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Lifeguard to help oversee indoor and outdoor pools, ensure pool deck safety, and monitor water slides. This role emphasizes safety mindedness and customer service in a fast‑paced club environment.

You will greet members, assist with aquatics events such as Dive in Movies and Poolapalooza, and perform rescues and first aid when needed, while maintaining a clean, safe pool area.

Qualifications

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR and First Aid certification required or bridge to StarGuard when current expires.
• Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
• Ability to retrieve a 10 lb diving brick from pool bottom and bring it to surface.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lb objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with Members.
• Rescues swimmers in danger and administers first aid.
• Monitors potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
• Keeps the pool area clean and orderly for Member safety.
• Assists with aquatics events such as 'Dive in Movies' and 'Poolapalooza'.
