Job summary

Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Champions Gate, Florida, is hiring a Pool Operations / Recreation Manager to oversee all recreation facilities and lead the Recreation team. You will coordinate events, supervise staff, ensure guest service excellence, and manage scheduling, payroll, training, and safety procedures in a dynamic, luxury resort environment.

• Okay to work in various weather conditions: extreme heat, cold, rain, sun, etc.
• Must be comfortable in and around pools.

• Supervise and develop Assistant Recreation Manager, Supervisor, Attendants, Camp Omni counselors, and interns.
• Provide exceptional guest service.
• Ensure Recreation facility is kept clean and properly maintained.
• Carry out duties as they relate to: scheduling, payroll, recruiting, training, financials, MOS, inventories, ordering, safety procedures and implementing Omni culture in Recreation Associates.
• Implementation and facilitation of Recreation activities, programs and events.

Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)

• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to push/pull towels bins weighing up to 300 pounds.
• Must have basic swimming skills to assist a guest in the pool if needed.
• Able to work on feet for majority of shift.
