Job summary

Arcis Golf's The Pinery Country Club in Parker, CO seeks a Pool Manager to lead Athletics/Fitness staff and ensure guest safety around pool and water features.

You will respond to emergencies with first aid/CPR/AED, maintain facilities, and coordinate engaging activities for guests while upholding service standards for members and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year as a Lifeguard and current First Aid/CPR/AED card.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with local/state certifications.
  • Strong customer service and ability to respond to emergencies promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Athletics/Fitness staff and supervise pool activities.
  • Ensure guest safety and enforce pool rules at all times.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform first aid/CPR/AED as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of pool facilities and equipment.
  • Provide engaging entertainment and activities for guests.

Job Title: Pool Manager

Department: Athletics / Fitness

SUMMARY

Manages Athletics/Fitness staff. Ensures the safety of guests in and around pool and other water features; responds to inappropriate behavior and emergencies.

Essential Functions

Takes primary responsibility for the health, wellbeing and happiness for guests using pool and water features. Recognizes and resolves individual or group behavior issues or problems; ensures pool rules are followed. Provides and supervises entertainment activities for guests participating in the location’s pool and water feature activities. Responds to medical emergencies; performs first aid, CPR/AED; stabilizes guest until the arrival of EMS. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of pool equipment and facility. Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations. Performs special projects delegated by management. Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the department as well as the location. Supervises Athletics/Fitness staff to ensure guests receive excellent service. Attends meetings with location leaders.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year as a Lifeguard. Applicants must hold a current First Aid/CPR/AED card. Must be at least 18 years of age. Current required local and/or state professional certification and/or license; proven lifeguard skills; and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new pool and water feature programs and activities, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay Range: $17.25 - $40.00
