What you get to do: You will be key in leading the team, setting the tone for a luxurious, yet fun and approachable pool experience. You must be able to have fun, work hard, understand the food and beverage aspect of the business as well as generating revenue through innovative events.

Your day-to-day: Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Create and execute ridiculously personal experiences for guests through innovative and fun events, activities and service excellence.
  • Manage and supervise assigned operations to achieve goals; able to influence a team and achieve results.
  • Able to motivate a team, as well as work independently.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate work performance of department personnel; prepare schedules and assignments for pool personnel; and manage in the hiring, developing and counseling staff.
  • Prepare and manage annual budget for pool program functions.
  • Approve purchases of supplies and operating inventory for recreation programs.
  • Ensure that exceptional guest services is provided; all quest concerns are responded to immediately.
  • Remain up to date with local and international restaurant trends.
  • Regularly hold training sessions for entire team to ensure cohesiveness between Pool Bar and Pool Deck.
  • Ensure that the pool area is exceptionally clean and tidy at all times; daily walkthroughs.
  • Ensure proper communication between all departments on any upcoming and/or ongoing recreational activities or events.
  • Maintain proper risk management practices; ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed.
  • Convey any potential maintenance, housekeeping, safety, and operational issues to the proper department official.


Specific experience we're seeking:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Prior experience required. Depending on the role degree may be required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range/Rate

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000. This job is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and many other benefits to eligible employees.
