Job summary

Pendry at Montage International in New Jersey is seeking a Pool Attendant to welcome guests, keep the pool area sparkling, and help guests enjoy a relaxing day by the water. Join a team that values service, warmth, and attention to detail.

You will collaborate with food and beverage, recreation, and guest services to deliver WOW moments, assist with towels and water, and ensure cabanas and pool decks remain inviting.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the pool area is kept clean, organized, and stocked at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests by greeting guests, addressing inquiries, and assisting with towels and water
• Complete the set up and break down of all service cabanas as designated by management
• Perform walk through of the pool area monitoring and cleaning pool decks, furniture, and restrooms to ensure an impeccable and inviting environment
• Set up and arrange pool furniture, umbrellas, and other amenities to enhance guest comfort and enjoyment
• Promote poolside amenities and services, such as food and beverage offerings, cabana rentals, and poolside entertainment
• Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, recreation, and guest services, to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

Your Journey

Physical Requirements

• Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over
• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay scale for the Pool Attendant positionis $15.92 per hour. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, andmay include otherfactors,that Montagereasonably expectsto pay for the position.
