SPS PoolCare is seeking an entry-level Pool Maintenance Specialist Trainee in Florida. You will assist with maintaining client pools and related facilities, while learning to manage chemical treatments and water quality under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, physical work, and accurate recordkeeping, with on-the-job training to develop skills in pool care and equipment inspection.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and customer service.
• Understands pool cleaning chemicals and pool equipment.
• Performs mechanical tasks related to aquatic facilities and equipment.
• Can perform precise chemical calculations for balance and disinfection.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pool Maintenance Specialist with cleaning and maintaining pools.
• Periodically perform deep cleaning and surface scrubbing.
• Test water for pH, chlorine, bacteria, and contaminants.
• Receive training to ensure correct water chemistry and clarity.
• Calculate and add chemicals to balance water chemistry.
• Inspect pool and equipment.
• Maintain daily logs of chemical usage and water quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
