Terry’s Pools is hiring a Pool Maintenance Technician in Tallahassee, FL. This entry-level, full-time position offers on-site work, paid training, and a company vehicle for local routes. Training precedes independent field work, with emphasis on pool cleaning, chemical balance, and routine maintenance.

We provide competitive hourly pay and benefits; all applicants must have a valid driver's license, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable outdoors on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to customer locations and load/unload tools as needed.

• Brush and vacuum pools according to procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps and filtration equipment.

Terry's Pools is seeking a trainable, dependable, motivated Pool Maintenance Technician. You'll receive paid training, locally assigned routes, great benefits and resources to advance your career. This is a full-time, entry level position reporting to the Tallahasseearea Monday-Friday.

Our main objectives are to provide consistent, top-notch pool services to our customers and provide opportunities for technicians to develop professionally. This is an hourly position with no selling required; just cleaning and maintaining the pools!

Responsibilities

• Driving the company vehicle to the customer's location, loading and unloading tools as needed.
• Monitor, diagnose and correct chemical levels for swimming pools by testing swimming pool water pH, salt or chlorine levels and adding chemicals to correct pH level.
• Performs cleaning of swimming pools and clearing debris in a safe and sanitary condition, including clearing Skimmer baskets.
• Brush and vacuum swimming pool according to established procedures.
• Check and perform preventative maintenance on pumps, chlorinators, heating and filtration equipment to maintain operative condition.
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory of chemicals, parts and supplies as needed.
• Makes minor adjustments and keeps equipment in great condition.
• Performs heavy manual labor, including operating riptides and vacuums.
• Maintains maintenance records and schedules in Skimmer.
• Maintains log of work completed and orders necessary supplies.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience
