Job summary

Swim 'N fun in Town of Florida, NY is seeking a dedicated pool cleaner to service 40–60 pools weekly. You will inspect, brush, sanitize, and maintain proper chemical levels while providing friendly customer service.

This role offers a company truck, uniforms, two weeks training, and growth opportunities. Open to applicants with varied experience; valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required; weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pool and spa maintenance is a plus.
• Comfort working in Florida heat and outdoors.
• No drug use is required.
• Clean driving record and ability to follow safety procedures.

Do you spend countless hours skimming your pool and battling algae?

• Consistently maintain a Service Route of approximately 40-60 pools per week
• Clean, brush, inspect and sanitize residential pools and ensure appropriate levels of chemicals and cleaning agents are in place
• Inspect proper operation of pool components and clean where applicable
• Physically inspect the interior of the pool along with valves and drains to ensure they are free of debris and properly functioning
• Contact Service Manager immediately if persistent or unusual adverse conditions are identified and apply applicable steps to correct the issue
• Interact with customers providing exceptional service, recommendations, and general guidance
• Maintain high standards in customer service and professional and ethical conduct
• Comply with all safety procedures, including safe working and driving habits
• Ability to work full- or part-time – no weekends

• Previous experience in pool & spa maintenance or other related fields and/or knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, electrical and water chemistry is a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload and the Florida summer sun and heat
• Deadline and detail-oriented; ability to recognize and solve problems
• Good communicator; has a positive, professional demeanor with great customer service skills
• Fast learner and able to understand and execute directions to complete the job
• Dependable and honest
• Able to maintain written records and apply basic mathematical equations for chemicals
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and manual dexterity to operate pool maintenance tools
• Self-starter who can work alone without the need for constant management
• Valid Driver’s License and must not have driving violations that would prevent you from being added to our insurance policy
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older due to vehicle insurance requirements
• Absolutely, positively no drug use!
