Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a lifeguard to oversee pool operations, supervise lifeguards, and ensure guest safety at the aquatic facility. You will manage water testing, chemical balancing, and enforcement of pool rules while assisting with training and scheduling.

The role requires current lifeguard, CPR-Pro, AED, and oxygen administration certifications, with responsibilities ranging from rescues to first aid and program support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the operation of the pool and supervision of lifeguards.
• Monitor facility policies and assist with scheduling of employees.
• Maintain pool chemistry, water balance and perform water tests.
• Enforce safety rules and provide protection for guests.
• Rescue swimmers and administer first aid as required.
• Assist with aquatic training per ATP 7-22.01 (as of Oct 2020).
• Keep pool area clean and hazard-free; provide safety information to swimmers.
• Warn patrons who disregard safety rules and support disciplinary procedures.
• Assist in coaching or preparing swimming programs; issue towels and verify ID as needed.
• Maintain daily logs and records as required.
