Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated individual to assist the aquatics manager in supervising the aquatic programs and to serve as head lifeguard. You will help plan and administer a wide range of conventional aquatic activities and support certification curricula for lifeguarding, WSI, and related programs.

You will coordinate with the marketing team to publicize events, evaluate program success, and develop SOPs for facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and executing aquatic programs.
• Current certification in Lifeguarding or Lifeguarding instructor, First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.
• Plans to obtain Water Safety Instructor and Aquatic Facilities operator or Pool Operator certifications within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist the aquatics manager in supervising aquatic programs and act as head lifeguard.
• Help plan and establish certification curricula for lifeguarding and related certifications.
• Coordinate with MWR marketing to publicize events and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for aquatic facilities and assist with data collection for reports.
• Represent the program department and respond to guest concerns.
