Job summary

Keller Pools is seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Leak Detection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify, diagnose, and document leaks in residential and commercial pool systems, using specialized equipment and safe work practices.

This role requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent customer service as you inspect, report, and sometimes repair leaks, from epoxy putty to skimmer replacements, while maintaining equipment and following safety

Qualifications

  • Experience in swimming pool leak detection or related fields.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to swim and perform underwater inspections.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Perform comprehensive leak detection inspections on pools, spas, fountains, and water features.
  • Utilize specialized leak detection equipment, including pressure testing equipment, electronic listening devices, dye testing, and underwater inspection tools.
  • Conduct plumbing pressure tests and equipment evaluations.
  • Inspect pool structures, plumbing systems, fittings, lights, skimmers, drains, and other components for potential leaks.
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, recommended repairs, and supporting photos.
  • Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally with customers.
  • Maintain leak detection equipment, company tools and vehicle.
  • Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices.
  • Make all necessary repairs from epoxy putty to skimmer replacements.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Swimming Pool Leak Detection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and documenting leaks in residential and commercial swimming pools, spas, and associated plumbing systems. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and excellent customer service.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, climb, and perform physical inspections.
  • Comfortable entering pools and working around and under water.
