Pentair is seeking a Pool Lab Technician III in Sanford, NC to join a collaborative technical team. You will develop test methods, set up, and conduct performance tests for pool and lab systems, collaborating with engineers to diagnose failures and improve processes.

You will fabricate fixtures, maintain lab equipment, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. Travel is limited, with a focus on precise, high-quality testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a lab environment.
• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to fabricate and assemble custom test fixtures.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to mentor others in technical tasks.

Responsabilités

• Set up and optimize advanced testing solutions for mechanical, electrical, and electronic pool and lab systems.
• Assist engineers in diagnosing system and component failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Evaluate and propose improvements for lab testing processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Fabricate advanced test fixtures and tools for prototype and production testing.
• Independently maintain lab facilities and equipment, including calibration per standards.
• Mentor and guide less experienced technicians on troubleshooting and setup.
• Drive automation, data collection, and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Stay current with regulatory standards and ensure safety compliance.
• Provide Quality support by addressing daily quality issues with engineers and production.
