University of Kansas invites qualified scholars and professionals to submit applications for placement in a pool for part-time Instructor positions in Project Management Programs. Instructors teach undergraduate or graduate courses, in-person or online, with appointments not exceeding two consecutive semesters.
Prior rank and union considerations apply. The successful candidate must hold an advanced terminal degree; employment contingent on work authorization and background check.
Project Management Programs in the School of Professional Studies at the University of Kansas Lawrence Campus invite qualified scholars and professionals with experience in project management to submit applications that will be reviewed by the faculty and placed in a pool for consideration for part-time Instructor positions. An Instructor teaches an undergraduate or a graduate level course either in-person or online and must possess an advanced terminal degree. Instructors report to the Director of the Project Management Programs.

Instructors are instructional members of the faculty and are not eligible for tenure or promotion in rank. Primary role is instruction with no obligations to perform research or service. Instructors are placed in single term appointments, with renewal based upon unit needs and funding as well as performance that meets expectations, not to exceed two continuous semesters.
This position is subject to a collective bargaining agreement between The University of Kansas and United Academics, United Academics of KU, AAUP, or AFT. UAKU is the exclusive representative. Due to complex state employment laws, the University of Kansas may be unable to hire fully remote workers for this position outside of Kansas.
