Job Summary:

The primary objective of the Gatekeeper is to greet members and guests entering the Irving Park and Carlson Farm Pools. Responsibilities include checking in members and guests, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe environment.

Essential Duties:

• Greet and sign-in members.
• Verify member names and pool patron numbers.
• Enforce pool guest policies.
• Charge guest fees and schedule swim lessons.
• Promote aquatic programs like swim team and lessons.
• Monitor pool entrances and direct members accordingly.
• Bid farewell to departing members and inquire about their experience.
• Keep the entrance area clean and tidy.
• Be punctual and maintain a neat appearance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and support staff during shifts.
• Perform duties related to safety and cleanliness, including immediate cleanup of spills and hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to obtain before the season.

Reports To:

Aquatics Manager and Shift Leaders.

Job Details:

• Part-time, $11.00 - $12.00/hour.
• Schedule: 4-6 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, weekend availability.
