Job summary

Craft Master Custom Pools is seeking a skilled Field Technician to install, repair, and maintain custom pools in West Palm Beach. The role requires hands-on field work, independent operation, and dedication to quality craftsmanship on every project.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in pool construction or service, strong knowledge of pool systems, and familiarity with Florida codes. A valid driver’s license and a CPO certification are a plus; English/Spanish bilingual abilities are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in pool construction, installation, or service.
• Strong knowledge of pool plumbing systems, equipment, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with Florida building codes and pool safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret pool plans and equipment manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in the field.
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems per manufacturer specs and local code requirements.
• Run and connect all perimeter plumbing lines ensuring proper flow and watertight integrity.
• Complete and maintain accurate job sheet receipts, startup checklists, and field documentation for all orders.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and equipment issues; identify root causes and propose repair solutions.
• Install and calibrate automatic water levelers/autofill systems per specifications.
• Remove and replace skimmers with proper sealing and alignment.
• Install and inspect bonding wire to NEC/local electrical codes for safety.
• Possibly reset and re-level pool deck pavers around work areas.
• Apply broad hands-on knowledge across all phases of pool construction and service to support deadlines.
