Job summary

AquaWorx in Florida seeks a skilled field service technician to diagnose, repair, and service commercial pool equipment, pumps, and filtration systems. You will work with minimal supervision, travel to customer sites, and perform installations and adjustments according to manufacturer specs.

The role requires practical hands-on experience with pumps, motors, gearboxes, read blueprints, use precision tools, and communicate clearly with customers about options and timelines.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical & plumbing preferred.
• Excellent communication; verbal and written.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Physical stamina: lift 50+ lbs., work outdoors in FL weather.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work non-typical hours on occasion, including overtime.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues (pumps, filters, timers, etc.).
• Install, level, align, and test pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, technical drawings, and repair specifications.
• Use multimeter, micrometer, caliper, feeler gauge, dial indicator, and other precision measuring tools.
• Document inspections, repairs, measurements, and completed work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company work vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, repair options, timelines, and completed work.
• Troubleshoot circulation, priming, suction, pressure, and equipment performance issues.
