Job summary

Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Food Runner to support the Food & Beverage team with poolside service that embodies our luxury standard and warm hospitality. You will assist servers, ensuring each plate meets guest specifications and dietary needs, while delivering friendly, efficient service across peak periods.

The role requires at least 6 months of F&B experience, strong presentation, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of food and beverage experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Flexible schedule; ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs.

Food Runners ensure all outgoing dishes are correctly prepared according to guest's specific requests including dietary restrictions. Food Runners present the food to the guest and are knowledgeable about all current menu options, beverage lists and daily specials.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

• At least 6 months of food and beverage experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
