Summary - A pool and beach concierge will value all guests and be committed to providing guests with information and resources to have a meaningful visit. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility. Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services. Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Open umbrellas when weather permits.
- Open and arrange amenities and openings; changes dirty/stain cushions as many times as needed.
- During shift: Clean pool area throughout the shift and prior to leaving each day.
- Clean tables, take plates, utensils, and drinkware to the kitchen to be washed; ensure diners\' water glasses are full; reset tables for the next service. Assist servers by bringing food to tables and restocking utensils, napkins and other needs.
- Ensure pool chairs are aligned and the back rests are placed on the second level; keep small tables free of sand and stains.
- Maintain cleanliness and remove dirty towels on the 7th floor pool; report any broken pool equipment.
- Monitor activity in the pool area and report issues to the property in a daily log.
- Be aware of safety hazards (broken glass, frayed electrical cords, broken locks, suspicious people) and report to security or supervisor.
- Keep kids’ area clean and organized.
- Closing: Change dirty/stain cushions as needed; keep all pool chairs aligned and organized with back rests on the second level; collect dirty towels from the 7th floor pool at end of shift; close all umbrellas; store pool equipment; perform any other tasks assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
