Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking a friendly Pool Attendant to support a welcoming poolside experience for our guests. You will assist with seating, provide towels and amenities, and help maintain a pristine pool area.

The role requires 1-2 years in luxury hospitality, a strong guest focus, and the stamina to work outdoors in Arizona heat, including 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of food and beverage service in a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a guest-focused attitude.
• Able to work outdoors for extended periods in a desert climate, including high temperatures.
• Able to stand/walk for 6–8 hours per day and lift heavy loads as needed.
• Valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the pool, deck, and surrounding guest areas in clean, guest-ready condition.
• Greet guests, provide information, and assist with requests with a professional demeanor.
• Stock and replenish towels, umbrellas, and pool amenities; monitor inventory needs.
• Enforce pool policies and report safety concerns to Security when needed.
• Assist with additional pool attendant duties as required to support operations.

About the role

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is seeking an enthusiastic and guest-focused Pool Attendant to support a welcoming and enjoyable poolside experience for our guests. In this role, you will assist with seating arrangements, provide towels, water, and pool amenities, and help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the pool area. You will also support poolside food and beverage service, responding to guest needs with professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude.

What you will do

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the pool, pool deck, and surrounding guest areas, ensuring all spaces are well maintained and guest-ready.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by welcoming guests, providing information and orientation, assisting with requests, and offering safe guidance within the pool area.
• Stock, distribute, and replenish towels, umbrellas, covers, amenities, and other pool supplies while monitoring and reporting inventory replenishment needs.
• Promote a safe environment by enforcing pool policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and promptly reporting accidents, injuries, or concerns to Security.
• Monitor area conditions, promptly report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues, and support operational needs by completing additional pool attendant duties as required.

What you will bring

• 1-2 years of food and beverage service experience, preferably in a high-volume luxury hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive and guest-focused attitude, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in a desert climate, including temperatures that may reach or exceed 100°F, while remaining active and attentive throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking for 6 to 8 hours per day, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, and pushing or moving up to 100 pounds.
• Valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
