Job summary

OT0 Development, a hotel-focused company, is seeking a Pool Attendant to supervise the pool area and assist guests at the Saint Pete Beach property. The role includes cleaning, safety enforcement, towel distribution, and assisting housekeeping as needed.

The successful candidate will greet guests, monitor water quality, and provide local activity recommendations. This position is part of the Housekeeping department and reports to the AGM.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to bend at waist and reach overhead
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool area and monitor all persons entering to ensure only authorized hotel guests are using the facilities
• Clean and disinfect pool seating in accordance with CDC/COVID guidelines
• Maintain order at the pool and ensure guests adhere to all safety rules
• Greet guests
• Monitor inventory of pool towels
• Pass out and collect pool towels
• Monitor pool water quality and inform maintenance of any discrepancies
• Open and close the pool area
• Assist in housekeeping and other back of the house areas as needed
• Provide recommendation for nearby activities and eateries
• Clean and maintain all public restrooms in and around the pool area
