POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Assembler position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product in the time allocated. The Lead Assembler role provides guidance, support, and motivation to their staff, manages conflict, monitors process, represents their team, and trains outfitters to ensure tasks are being performed accurately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assists supervisor, manages, guides, coaches, and adjusts work as needed to accomplish goal.
  • Trains outfitters to ensure safety requirements are being followed
  • Leads by example.
  • Develops training for outfitters to understand responsibility and takt time.
  • Identifies and help improve safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.
  • Understands and ability to track SQDC metrics.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Years of experience: 1 year preferred
