Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Kentucky is seeking a Lead Assembler to guide staff, ensure safe, quality production, and model strong teamwork. You will train outfitters, monitor takt time, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and delivery.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience; strong communication, math skills, and the ability to influence others are essential. The position is full-time, on-site, with comprehensive benefits.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Assembler position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product in the time allocated. The Lead Assembler role provides guidance, support, and motivation to their staff, manages conflict, monitors process, represents their team, and trains outfitters to ensure tasks are being performed accurately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assists supervisor, manages, guides, coaches, and adjusts work as needed to accomplish goal.


• Trains outfitters to ensure safety requirements are being followed


• Leads by example.


• Develops training for outfitters to understand responsibility and takt time.


• Identifies and help improve safety, quality, and delivery opportunities.


• Understands and ability to track SQDC metrics.


• ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent


• Years of experience: 1 year preferred
