Job summary

Intero Integrity Services is seeking a polyurethane technician to join the production team in Houston, TX. You will load, mix, mold and finish urethane components for R&D testing and commercial projects, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.

You will perform quality checks, assist with basic reporting, and support equipment maintenance while adhering to health and safety standards. Experience with polyurethane chemistry and manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with chemicals (polyurethane, solvents) in a shop environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing/production processes.
  • Experience operating polyurethane mixing equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and machine control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Load mix and mold urethane components.
  • Finish parts (trimming, filing, labeling).
  • Quality control (self and peer part checking).
  • Light assembly and testing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workspace.
  • Mold and equipment maintenance.
  • Basic reporting including output and failure rates.
  • Assist with process improvements and documentation.

Position Summary

As a Polyurethane Technician, you will join the production team in creating parts that will be used for R&D testing, customer sales, as well as commercial projects. As we continue to serve our clients, these parts must be completed with high precision, zero to low failure rates, and within scheduling requirements. Maintaining an exceptional level of quality, as well as a strong attentional to detail, are key attributes of this role. In addition, the successful candidate can work independently, and enjoy creating excellence with repeatable tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Load mix and mold urethane components.

  • Other duties as required with a high level of quality, accuracy, and integrity of work
  • Be ready and willing to take-on challenges to aid process, documentation, and improvements
  • Be safety minded – nothing comes before safety

  • Able to learn procedures and follow manufacturing documentation
  • Strong hands‑on skills with rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to stay on task independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate efficiently both orally and written using English language
  • Computer skills to update documentation and provide communication
  • Understands and adheres to all Health & Safety (including Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Able to complete high volume, repeatable tasks with regularity and with quality output
What you should bring to the team:
Education and Experience
  • Experience working with chemicals (e.g. polyurethane, release agents, solvents, etc.) in a shop environment
  • Familiarity with manufacturing/production work and processes
  • Previous experience operating Polyurethane mixing equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical and machine control systems
