Job summary

Intero Integrity Services in Houston, TX seeks a Polyurethane Technician to join production, creating parts for R&D testing, customer sales, and commercial projects. The role requires high-precision work, low failure rates, and meeting scheduling requirements.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with polyurethane chemicals in a shop setting, follow documented procedures, work independently, and communicate in English while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Able to learn procedures and follow manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong hands-on skills with rigorous attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay on task independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate efficiently both orally and written in English.
  • Computer skills to update documentation and provide communication.
  • Adheres to Health & Safety rules including PPE.
  • Capable of completing high-volume, repeatable tasks with quality output.

Responsibilities

  • Load mix and mold urethane components.
  • Finish parts (trimming, filing, labeling).
  • Quality control (self and peer part checking).
  • Light assembly and testing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workspace.
  • Mold and equipment maintenance.
  • Basic reporting including output and failure rates.
  • Other duties with emphasis on quality and integrity.

Position Summary

As a Polyurethane Technician, you will join the production team in creating parts that will be used for R&D testing, customer sales, as well as commercial projects. As we continue to serve our clients, these parts must be completed with high precision, zero to low failure rates, and within scheduling requirements. Maintaining an exceptional level of quality, as well as a strong attentional to detail, are key attributes of this role. In addition, the successful candidate can work independently, and enjoy creating excellence with repeatable tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Load mix and mold urethane components.

  • Be safety minded – nothing comes before safety

What you should bring to the team

Education and Experience

  • Experience working with chemicals (e.g. polyurethane, release agents, solvents, etc.) in a shop environment
  • Familiarity with manufacturing/production work and processes
  • Previous experience operating Polyurethane mixing equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical and machine control systems
