Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a PRN Sleep Tech for the night shift to perform polysomnography procedures according to physician orders and department policy, ensuring high-quality, reliable data and patient comfort.

You will adapt all testing procedures and equipment to each patient, conduct thorough assessments, document services accurately, and follow billing procedures while meeting reliability targets.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or high school diploma/equivalent required.
• 1+ year sleep tech experience required.
• Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) required.

Job Description

Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans.
Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data.
Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary.
Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns.
Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided. Strives to achieve reliability scores at a prescribed rate.
