Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a PRN Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnography procedures, adapt testing to patient needs, and conduct thorough patient assessments. You will use hospital equipment responsibly and ensure accurate billing and documentation of services.

Responsibilities

• Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policy, and patient care plans.
• Adapts all needed testing procedures and equipment to patients and obtains quality data.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and takes appropriate action as necessary.
• Uses hospital equipment, supplies, and resources responsibly and notifies the lead polysomnographer of any concerns.
• Follows procedures for correct billing and documentation of services provided.
