A Brief Overview
This RRT position requires an Associate degree and 1 year of experience. It is a 36-hour weekly schedule, with 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 6 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The work location includes the Main Hospital Philadelphia campus and PA satellites in KOP and Newtown Square on a rotating basis.
The Polysomnography Technologist-RRT performs all technical duties for the Sleep Center under supervision to evaluate sleep disorders. Responsibilities include polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, research, patient care, and education. The technologist troubleshoots technical problems, demonstrates critical thinking, and serves as a resource and leader in polysomnography knowledge, using respiratory therapy skills to provide specialized patient care.
