Job description

As a Polysomnography Technician at CentraCare, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders by administering sleep tests and PAP titrations for outpatients. You will have the opportunity to recommend therapy modifications and closely monitor respiratory variables to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Following comprehensive training, you will gain expertise in scoring and interpreting polysomnographic recordings, identifying technical issues, and understanding underlying pathophysiology. SCHEDULE & PAY

• Casual | 2 shifts required per month
• Nights | 12-hour shifts | 7pm - 7am
• Starting pay begins at $31.10 per hour and increases with experience
  • Pay range: $31.10-46.66 per hour
• Additional evening and night hourly differential + weekend shift differential

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of an AMA approved academic program for respiratory care or completion of neurodiagnostic program.
• Current CPR certification
• Licensed: Registered Polysomnography Technologist OR Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT) OR Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRTT/RRT) OR Registered Nurse (RN)

Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. CentraCare hiring incentives, including but not limited to hiring and relocation bonuses, may be discontinued at any time. Relocation bonus must meet distance requirements. Full-time or part-time status may impact bonus amount.
