Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Polysomnography Technician to deliver Sleep Testing services under the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Director. This role requires a polysi­mnography program graduate with at least six months' experience and BRPT RPSGT certification or eligibility, plus BLS within three months of hire.

Preferred candidates have two years of experience, a Registered Polysomnography Technician credential, and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Polysomnography program.
• Experience: Minimum 6 months experience.
• Certifications: BLS within 3 months of hire and certification through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technology as an RPSGT required.
• Preferred Experience: 2 years experience.
• Preferred Certifications: Registered Polysomnography Technician. BLS Healthcare Provider certified.
• Preferred Other: Ability to score.

Responsibilities

• Provide Sleep Testing services in accordance with physician orders, department policies and procedures.
• Ensure accurate data collection and scoring consistent with standards and quality metrics.
