The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas
The role you’ll contribute:
Conducts diagnostic and therapeutic testing for all classifications of sleep disorders in accordance with the guidelines established by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the policies and procedures of the Sleep Center. Demonstrates the ability to conduct all types of sleep studies including overnight polysomnography (multiple montages), multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, positive airway pressure titrations and supplemental oxygen titrations. This may include patient education, application of all sensors for testing, monitoring multiple physiologic data and medical interventions as needed for treatment and patient safety. Scores all types of sleep studies, using established clinical rules and guidelines. This individual can work independently upon verification of competencies and Board registry by the Director of Sleep, designated trainer and/or the Medical Director.
