Job summary

Reid Health in Indiana seeks a Registered Polysomnography Technician to perform overnight sleep diagnostics and therapies in the Sleep Disorders Center. Responsibilities include electrode placement, monitoring, and coordinating with care teams, with a focus on quality patient care and accurate data collection. During training, you will work four 10‑hour shifts (8:30 p.m.

– 6:30 a.m.). After training, shifts are Fri–Sun 8:30 p.m.–6:30 a.m., with some weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• AASM qualifications required; full-time employees have 1 year to become RPSGT.
• Preferred: 18 months medical experience in a healthcare setting; 6 months sleep lab experience.
• Registered Polysomnography Technologist certification/registry preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient needs and prioritize care.
• Document patient responses with concise notes.
• Transcribe orders and compile test results for review.
• Monitor and manage CPAP/BiPAP titration per policy.
• Setup and manage oxygen during testing.
• Monitor electrode/sensor placement and artifact elimination.
• Ensure room turnover and supply management.
• Enroll charges for sleep studies.
