Job summary

St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands Hospital in Texas is seeking a Polysom Tech to perform diagnostic sleep procedures per physician orders and established protocols.

You will set up the lab, prepare patients, conduct polysomnograms, score sleep stages, monitor equipment, and ensure safety with Sleep Lab Manager supervision. Knowledge of sleep monitoring equipment and ongoing education is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of a respiratory care program required.
• Sleep study certification required upon hire.
• One year related experience preferred.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtainable within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Set up the sleep lab and prepare patients per physician orders.
• Conduct polysomnograms and score sleep stages.
• Monitor and adjust equipment, ensure patient safety.
• Assist with data tabulation and quality assurance.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; report malfunctions.
