Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist to join a sleep laboratory in Winchester, VA. The role focuses on overnight polysomnography with real-time scoring and strong troubleshooting skills.

The ideal candidate will hold RPSGT certification and a Virginia license, with prior sleep-lab experience. Leadership experience is a plus, and board-eligible candidates may be considered.

Qualifications

• RPSGT certification is required.
• Virginia license is required.
• Previous sleep-lab experience is required.
• Ability to score studies on the fly is needed.
• Lead Technologist experience is preferred.
• Candidates near board completion may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor overnight polysomnographic studies.
• Score sleep studies accurately and in real time.
• Monitor patients and respond to clinical needs during studies.
• Troubleshoot technical and equipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate patient and study documentation.
• Follow sleep-lab protocols and safety standards.
• Support a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
• Lead Tech experience is a plus.

Job description

Location: Winchester, Virginia

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Schedule: Sleep lab operates 7 nights per week (8 PM-6 AM)

Flexible scheduling available, including regular and per-diem schedules.

2-patient setup: 10-hour shifts at $40/hour.

3-patient setup: 12-hour shifts at $45/hour.

• Score studies accurately and efficiently in real time.
• Monitor patients throughout sleep studies and respond to clinical needs.
• Troubleshoot technical and equipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate patient and study documentation.
• Follow established sleep-lab protocols and safety standards.
• Support a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
• Lead Tech experience is a plus.

Education, Licensure, And Experience

• RPSGT certification required.
