Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for full-time night shifts at our sleep lab. The role involves performing overnight polysomnographic studies, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality data collection in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RPSGT credential with BLS/CPR, prior sleep lab experience, and the ability to work independently through night shifts while maintaining patient safety and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Active RPSGT credential required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Prior sleep lab or clinical experience.
• Ability to work independently and remain attentive during overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Proficiency with sleep study equipment and scoring software.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight polysomnographic studies per protocols and physician orders.
• Prepare patients for sleep studies and apply monitoring equipment.
• Monitor patients overnight for safety, comfort, and data accuracy.
• Identify and respond to sleep-related events and physiological changes.
• Score sleep studies and document findings per AASM guidelines.

• Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures and applying monitoring equipment
• Monitor patients throughout the night, ensuring safety, comfort, and accurate data collection
• Identify and respond to sleep-related events and physiological changes
• Score sleep studies and document findings in compliance with AASM guidelines
• Troubleshoot and maintain sleep lab equipment
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support quality patient care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
