Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, seeks a Sleep Technologist to demonstrate competence in sleep pathology recognition, analysis, and treatment. You will operate polysomnography equipment and monitor 1–2 patients at a time in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Currently registered as a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) with a BRPT certificate or as a Registered Sleep Technologist with ABSM and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competence in sleep pathology recognition, analysis, and treatment.
• Operate equipment used in sleep disorders technology.
• Monitor 1 to 2 patients simultaneously.
