Full Time - 40 Hours - Midnight Shift (10- or 12-hour shifts - start at 7:30PM)
Location: Henry Ford Detroit Main Campus - 2799 W Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48202



Are you a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment? We are seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our respected Sleep Center team, where you'll play a critical role in the diagnosis and care of patients with sleep disorders.



What You'll Do:




  • Oversee and perform complex procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations




  • Assist technicians in troubleshooting during challenging data acquisition to ensure high-quality sleep studies (PSGs)




  • Score and tabulate sleep recordings based on established guidelines (sleep stages, respiratory events, limb movements, etc.)




  • Generate detailed reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation




  • Maintain compliance with BRPT Standards of Conduct





What We're Looking For:




  • Required: High school diploma or GED




  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree with scientific coursework




  • Strong knowledge of HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines for Sleep Reliability scoring




  • Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through BRPT




  • BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

  • Bachelors degree with some scientific coursework preferred.

  • Able to score Sleep Reliability by HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines, required.



LICENSURES AND CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:



  • Registration as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians (BRPT) required.

  • BCLS Certification.
