Job summary

AdventHealth in Calhoun, GA is seeking a Sleep Technologist for night shifts to perform sleep studies and ensure high-quality patient care. You will adapt testing procedures and equipment to obtain accurate diagnostic data while following physician orders and department policies.

Responsibilities include thorough patient assessments, safe handling of equipment, accurate documentation, and patient education tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; RPSGT preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and sleep tech credentials required.
• Experience performing sleep studies and safe patient care.

Responsibilities

Job Description: Work Schedule: 3 12's nights 7p-7a. No call required.

• Performs polysomnography procedures according to physician orders, department policies, and patient care plans while adapting testing procedures and equipment to obtain quality diagnostic data.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments, addresses special medical conditions, and takes appropriate action to support safe, patient-centered care.
• Maintains accurate billing, documentation, confidentiality, and reliability standards while responsibly using hospital equipment, supplies, and resources.
• Educates and supports patients and families by modifying teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including vision, hearing, or cognitive limitations.
• Participates in department meetings, continuing education, and performance improvement initiatives to maintain clinical excellence and compliance.

Education: High School Grad or Equiv Required Work Experience: 1+ experience as a sleep tech Required Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Preferred Licenses and Certifications: Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) Required Pay Range: $22.88 - $42.56
